نَهِكَ الشَّراَبَ He consumed the beverage. (Ḳ.)

Root: نهك - Entry: 1. Signification: A2

نَهِكَهُ الدِّباَغُ [The tan wore it, or eroded it], namely, a hide. (M and Ḳ, voce مُفَلْفَلٌ.) See مَفَلْفَلٌ.


8. ⇒ انتهك

اِنْتَهَكَ مَحَارِمَ ٱللّٰهِ [He violated the sacred ordinances of God;] he did that which God had forbidden him to do. (Ḥar, p. 18; where see more.)

مَنْهُوكٌ

مَنْهُوكٌ Affected with a constant, or chronic, pervading disease; or emaciated by disease, so as to be at the point of death. (Ṣ, Ḳ.)
