مَذِرَتِ البَيْضَةُ, (Ṣ, A, Ḳ,) aor. ـَ {يَمْذَرُ}, (A, Ḳ,) inf. n. مَذَرٌ, (TA,) The egg became corrupt, or rotten. (Ṣ, A, Ḳ.) And مَذِرَتِ الجَوْزَةُ The nut became bad, or corrupt; as alsoتمذّرت↓. (Ḳ.)

مَذِرَتْ مَعِدَتُهُ His stomach became in a corrupt state: (Ṣ:) and مَذِرَتْ نَفْسُهُ, (Ṣ, Ḳ,) and مَعِدَنُهُ, (Ḳ,) his soul [or stomach] became heavy; or it heaved, or became agitated by a tendency to vomit; syn. خَبُثَتْ; (Ṣ, Ḳ;) as alsoتمذّرت↓. (Ṣ, A, Ḳ.) You say, رَأَيْتُ بَيْضَةً مذِرَةً فَمَذِرَتْ لِذٰلِكَ نَفْسِى I saw a rotten egg, and my soul [or stomach] heaved, or became agitated by a tendency to vomit, thereat; syn. خَبُثَتْ. (Ṣ.)


4. ⇒ امذر

امذرت البَيْضَةَ She (a hen) caused the egg to become corrupt, or rotten. (Ṣ, A.)

مَذَرَ / مِذَرَ

شَذَرَ مَذَرَ and شِذَرَ مِذَرَ: see art. شذر. The latter word is an imitative sequent to the former. (TA.)


مَذِرَةٌ

بَيْضَةٌ مَذِرَةٌ A corrupt, or rotten, egg. (A, Ḳ.)
