كَرْثَأَ, [inf. n, كَرْثَأَةٌ;] andتكرثأ↓; [like كرفأ and تكرفأ;] It (hair, Ḳ, or a collection of clouds, TA, &c., Ḳ) became large in quantity, (Ḳ,) and intricate, or confused; in the dial. of the tribe of Asad; (TA;) and heaped up. (Ḳ.)
