1. (وزن)

وَزَنَ It (a thing) was heavy: (Mṣb:) or outweighed, or preponderated; syn. وَجَحَ. (TA.)


3. (وازن)

هٰذَا يُوَازِنُ هٰذَا This is equiponderant to this. (Ṣ.)


8. (اوتزناتّزن)

اِتَّزَنَهُ He took it, or received it, by weight. (Ṣ,* Mgh, Mṣb, Ḳ.*) See an ex. voce سَنْجَةٌ.


الوَزْنُ

الوَزْنُ A certain star in the left fore leg of Centaurus. (Ḳzw.) See حَضَارِ.


زِنِىٌّ

زِنِىٌّ, rel. n. of زِنَةٌ. (Ṣ, art. وعد, q. v., voce عِدَةٌ.)


وَازِنٌ

وَازِنٌ: see رَاجِحٌ: heavy: (Mṣb:) or of full weight: (KL:) pl. وُزَّنٌ: see زَالٌّ. You say, دِرْهَمٌ وَازِنٌ (Ṣ) A full, or complete, dirhem: (so in a copy of the Ṣ:) [a dirhem of full weight:] a heavy dirhem. (PṢ.)


وَزَّانٌ

وَزَّانٌ A weigher. (TA, in art. قسط.)


مِيزَانٌ

مِيزَانٌ A weighing-instrument; (TA:) a balance; a pair of scales.
