نَغَمَ, aor. ـِ and ـَ, He spoke in a low, gentle, or soft, voice or tone: (Ṣ, Mṣb:) [he spoke in an undertone:] he used such a voice in singing: (Ḳ:) or he modulated his voice, or made melody, in singing. (TḲ.) See جرس.
