نبل نبه نبهرج


1مَا نَبِهَ لَهُ

He did not know it; or know, or have knowledge, of it; was not cognizant of it; or did not understand it. (Ḳ.)
نَبِهَ لِلأَمْرِ His attention became roused to the thing, or affair, after he had forgotten it. (AZ, Ṣ.)
مَا نَبِهْتُ لَهُ: see مَا أَبِهْتُ لَهُ.
نَبَهَ عَلَيْهِمْ: see نَبَأَ عَلَيهم.
نَبُهَ He was, or became, eminent, celebrated, or well known. (Ṣ, Ḳ, * TA.)

2نَبَّهَهُ عَلَى الشَّىْءِ

He made him acquainted with the thing; informed him of it; gave him notice of it; notified it to him. (Ṣ.)
نَبَّهَهُ لِلْأَمْرِ (tropical:) [He roused his attention to the thing, or affair]. (TA in art. يقظ.)
نَبَّهَهُ (tropical:) [He roused him from heedlessness or inadvertence: he roused his attention. (TA.)

5تَنَبَّهَ عَلَى الشَّىْءِ

He became acquainted with the thing; became informed of it; had notice of it. (Ṣ.)
تَنَبَّهَ لَِلْأَمْرِ (tropical:) [His attention became roused, or he had his attention roused, to the thing, or affair]. (Mṣb and TA in art. يقظ.)
تَنَبَّهَ (tropical:) He became vigilant, wary, or cautious. (Mṣb, TA.)
تَنَبَّهَ and اِنْتَبَهَ (tropical:) He became roused from heedlessness or inadvertence; his attention became roused; or he had his attention roused. (TA.)

نَبِيهٌ

Eminent, celebrated, or well known; (Ṣ, Ḳ, * TA;) contr. of خَامِلٌ. (Ṣ, TA.)

كَلِمَةُ تَنْبِيهٍ

A word used to give notice, to a person addressed, of something about to be said to him. (TA, voce هَا.) See also هَا termed تَنْبِيهٌ. It may generally be rendered Now.
