محن محو مخ


1مَحَاهُ

He effaced, erased, rased, obliterated, or cancelled, it; removed, or did away with, its impression or trace. (Ḳ.)
مَحَتِ الرِّيحُ عَنْهُ الأَسْقَامَ وَالدُّنُوبَ The wind made to pass away, or dispelled, the clouds. (TA.)
مَحَا الصُّبْحُ اللَّيْلَ Daybreak dispelled the night. (TA.)
مَحَاٱللّٰهُ عَنْهُ الأَسْقَامَ وَالدُّنُوبَ [God removed from him diseases and sins; as though He cancelled them]. (Mṣb in art. عفو.)
الإِحْسَانُ يَمْحُو الإِسَآءَةَ Beneficence effaces, obliterates, or cancels, evil conduct. (TA)
