كَمَرَ He (a circumciser) missed the place of circumcision [and hurt, or wounded, the glans of the penis]. (IḲṭṭ.)
كَمَرَةٌ The head [or glans] of the penis; (Ḳ;) or i. q. حَشَفَةٌ: (Mṣb:) pl. كَمَرٌ: (Ṣ, Mṣb, Ḳ:) [or rather, the latter is a coll. gen. n.; and the former, the n. un.] It is said in a proverb, الكَمَرُ أَشْبَاهُ الكَمَرِ; alluding to the likeness of one thing to another. (Ḳ.)
Hence, by synecdoche, ‡ The penis, altogether. (Mṣb.)
مَكْمُورٌ A man (Ṣ) having the head [or glans] of his penis, (Mṣb, Ḳ,) or the extremity of the head of his penis, (Ṣ,) hurt, or wounded, by the circumciser. (Ṣ, Mṣb, Ḳ.)
كَمَرٌ A kind of belt with a receptacle for money.
