حَمْنَانٌ / حَمْنَانَةٌ

حَمْنَانٌ Small قِرْدَان [or ticks]; as alsoحَمْنٌ↓: n. un. with ة {حَمْنَانَةٌ}: (Ḳ:) accord. to Aṣ, the first of the قُرَاد is termed قَمْقَامَةٌ, when very small; then it is termed حَمْنَانَةٌ; then, قُرَادٌ; then, حَلَمَةٌ; then, عَلٌّ; and then, طِلْحٌ. (Ṣ.)
